ABOUT BDC, CPA

I earned my undergraduate education from the College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri in Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics in 2003. Upon graduation, I began a career in accounting and tax preparation under the supervision of a local CPA while I completed my Master's Degree in Accountancy at Truman State University.

A month after adding "Master of Accountancy" to my resume, I added "farmwife," and six months later, I became a full-fledged licensed Certified Public Accountant.

In 2009, I became a sole practitioner, working out of my home. A few years later, I moved my practice to town. We've recently outgrown our downtown office and have moved to historic West Lafayette Street. You can find me just two blocks west of the 4-way stop.

My life experience, first as the daughter of a farmer, and now as the wife of a farmer, along with my undergraduate education in agriculture makes me uniquely qualified to advise farmers and other small business owners in tax planning and preparation.

I can prepare and file U.S. individual, as well as entity tax returs, as well as the corresponding returns for any state Department of Revenue.

I'm available year-round to help with tax questions, as well as payroll and bookkeeping. I also offer attestation services, and am enrolled in the Missouri Society of CPAs peer review program.

I offer consultations in person or remotely, via phone, email, or zoom. Contact me today to see how I can help you!
